TRINIDAD GUARDIAN REPORTER: A large, multistate outbreak of Zika virus has started to spread in Trinidad.

The first cases of the virus were reported in the western part of the country on Friday.

A second case was confirmed in Trinidad’s south.

Zika has also been reported in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Panama.
