The Philadelphia Inquirer has reported that a Pennsylvania boy who died from what appears to be a mysterious case of measles has been buried with his parents and a friend.
On March 26, the boy, who is not named, died in the family’s home in the rural town of Wylie, about 15 miles (24 kilometers) north of Philadelphia.
His family says he had no known medical history and was vaccinated with a measles-specific vaccine.
According to a report in the local paper, he also had “no known contagious illness.”
The coroner’s office did not respond to a request for comment.
