In Arizona, there are many different types of newspapers.
Some are more reliable than others, and they’re all worth checking out for your local newspaper.
AZ’s newspaper archives are vast, but a search for the most recent AZ newspapers will reveal more than a few things you need to know about the past.
For example, one of the oldest AZ newspapers, the Navajo Times, was launched in 1892.

The Navajo Times became a major newspaper in the late 1800s and had a long and storied history, which included the publication of books about the Navajo Nation.
Today, the paper still has its original printing and can be found online and in print.
But what we really want to know is, how did the Navajo paper make its way to the newspaper archives?
